Giving a Sumatran a Shower

   Today was a pretty normal day, though I did get to give Harapan his shower today! Generally I've just watched as the keepers give it to him but I got to be the one washing him off this time :)  We give him a shower at least once, sometimes twice, a day in order to prevent him from consuming as much of the mud he wallows in as possible. This is because mud, in general, is high in iron and iron is the cause of many medical problems in rhinos. Therefore, we are trying to slow and hopefully completely prevent serious medical problems for him by giving him baths!
